Bio
Christine Sommerville's contemporary paintings explore the relationships between color, movement and depth. She creates intuitively and emotionally, without expectations or boundaries, mixing abstract influences with her design sensibility and love of nature.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Christine graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a BFA in Textile/Surface Design. She spent eight years building a creative career in New York, until life brought her to England, where she lived for over a decade and became a wife and mother. Currently based in Atlanta, Christine is fully embracing her journey as an artist.
